LT’s mother, Elaine, sits down to talk about how she made the decision to enroll in business school as a young woman in the late 1960s to prepare her for the corporate world. Upon earning a degree and entering in the workforce, women were not allowed to wear pantsuits like their men colleagues, but personnel policies changed and Elaine giddily participated in the movement with her fellow women colleagues. Elaine talks about dead skillsets she still uses today and her advice she’s learned throughout her life.
